NanoRelief GmbH is based on the results of the work of Prof. Yury Gushcho. He is the founder of a new direction in applied physics - the reliefography, on which base the high-speed phase electro-optical Light Modulator Relief (LMR).

The technology of NanoRelief GmbH is unique. Manufacture of LMR is comparable at cost to manufacture of LCD. The functionalities of LMR are comparable with expensive DMD modulators. NanoRelief GmbH expects the weight, sizes and price of a new PLP with LMR will be less than for existent projectors.

Besides PLP the others areas of the application of LMR are: tunable diffractive gratings; image correction systems; telecom attenuators, splitters, multiplexers, switches and others; front and rear displays, home TV systems, information panels, microlenses, printers, polygraphic equipment, adaptive optics, MEMS, etc.

NanoRelief’s technology is well protected by international family patents.
