Business Development Manager (m/f)
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is able to manage our products right through product life cycle starting at product concept through to product obsolescence in the fields of projector systems, tunable diffractive gratings, image correction systems, telecom attenuators, splitters, multiplexers, switches and others, front and back displays, home TV systems, information panels, microlenses, printers, polygraphic equipment, adaptive optics, MEMS, electronic, mobility, entertainment, automotive, electronics and high volume electronic manufacturing and supply areas, etc. This includes identifying future products, addressing all pre-launch items, launch, on-market product support and product obsolescence.
Job description:
- communicate with the consumers in our market fields;
- develop and realize near and long-term strategic directions and key relationships critical to attainment of strategic objectives;
- build up the area of business development with the aim of the analysis of markets and competitors, the derivation of marketing and sales strategies, and successful positioning in the market;
- enable entirely new ways of illuminating informations and enabling a new wave of portable visual imaging;
- determine the ability and willingness of partners to commit and invest;
- evolve key proposals with cross-functional teams with a critical eye toward capabilities and key benefits to all parties involved;
- influence others through organization, clarity of communication and credibility of our project plans;
- must have ability to manage complex disclosures, a broad business understanding, and superior skills to articulate the economic benefit;
- look for opportunities to accelerate time to market, revenue creation and profits through partnership or acquisition of complementary technology or solution providers;
- be a major contributor to cross-organizational teams and initiatives with considerable interaction with our engineering, strategic marketing, program management, strategic sourcing and intellectual property/licensing team members.
Your profile:
- minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree with advanced degrees in technology, finance, economics or business preferred;
- at least 5 years experience in high visibility business development positions;
- history of innovation, excellence and contribution to the growth and profitability of prior companies or business units;
- business practices and key requirements in high-volume technology of our market fields;
- ability to execute to key targets and milestones relative to opportunity management and known financial objectives;
- professional experience with business expertise, financial analysis, strategy development, relationship building, and transactional execution;
- ability to work internal and external to NanoRelief GmbH with ease;
- ability to travel on an as needed basis to support business objectives;
- fluent English, German;
- Russian is a plus.
